Below is a link to a Christmas card I recently made. The layout came from a recent sketch challenge. I've put together 5 of these and the more I look at them I feel it is missing something or possibly needs some kind of greeting somewhere. Let me know what you think.
It is a beautiful card. I have been in your shoes before, thinking that something is missing and not quite satisfied with it until it feels right.
What do you think about moving the circle down just a teeny tiny bit and then putting a sentiment or embellishment just a little lower than the spot that has your created by.... watermark. Just a thought. Your card is beautiful.

Reason: changed wording
I like it very much (love the color combo!). I like some sparkle on wintery cards so I might add some Stickles on the center of each scallop (not positive it would look good but I would try it for some bling).
I don't always put a sentiment/greeting on a card (and it sometimes goes on the inside).
But remember that it is a very nice card and don't overanalyze the process. Keep it fun!
I think it looks great the way it is, but I am like you I always look at my cards and think it needs something else. What about maybe putting a little glitter/dazzaling diamonds and the bottom of the snowman? I also have to say you are really organized, starting your Chirstmas cards already, I usually do mine a few days before the postal deadline at that time of year. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I added frosted lace stickles to the scallop and to the trim on the girls' coats and hats and their little dog, too. I'll try to take a picture of the revision and post it. Thanks again.
I like it just the way it is too. I usually don't' put a sentiment on the outside of my Christmas cards. Sometimes, just putting the card away for a couple days and looking at it with a fresh brain helps you see it more clearly. Many times, less is more when it comes to embellishments. HTH

If you're still not happy with it, maybe add a ribbon like the other person did, and maybe use dimensionals to 'pop up' your scallop image. It's so pretty and looks like a lot of work, so why not call some attention to it!
