Yes, soap and water is great. Just make sure you use some kind of colander or something so you don't lose one down the drain.
I usually clean mine with whatever stamp cleaner I have around, except for Ultra Clean because I heard that can deteriorate the polymer. Not sure if that's true, but better safe than sorry. I've also used baby wipes.
I have two types of cleaners on my work space for cleaning stamps. Diluted Simple Green for really stubborn stains, and a tub of baby wipes. Both work equally well but the wipes are the easiest.
I thought I read somewhere to make sure the baby wipes are alcohol and lanolin free. Either one of those ingredients can be bad on the clear polymer. I wish I could remember where I read that.....
