Need color help

I am planning my layouts for my Christmas cards for this year & I really want to use a maroon color. In looking at things in the gallery most people have used the retired SU color baroque burgundy. :( Since I can't get this color I was wondering how the new cranberry crisp looks in comparison to the baroque burgundy.

I really like the Cranberry Crisp for Christmas. It's still a wee bit "browner" than the old Burgandy, but once paired with a green I like it. I think I will be using it with Certainly Celery for some of my cards this year...it's makes it really kind of "zippy" for lack of a real word, lol...

There is Bravo Burgandy now. Much better than Baroque, IMHO...

It looks great with Garden Green and Handsome Hunter.

Well, I personally do not like the Bravo Burgundy...It's pretty much brown...especially the ink. I was very excited to see the new Cranberry Crisp and I think it is more of a festive looking colour. I think it would be great with many of SU!'s blues and greens to make beautiful xmas cards. Not to mention it would be beautiful with both Vanilla and White as well.

I'm thinking that Cranberry Crisp will end up in my Christmas Cards. Especially with the matching ribbon in the Holiday Mini.

I like Bravo Burgundy best for Christmas colors.

I'm using it on two of my Christmas cards:

I dislike Bravo Burgundy! I loved Baroque Burgundy, and I agree that the Bravo ink is BROWN. I do like the new Cranberry Crisp. You couldn't go wrong using it on your cards.
