I hosted a swap with new hostess sets and someone used Apricot Appeal with Pumpkin Pie. I'm not usually a fan of orange, but this was gorgeous!!!

Hmmmm, Amethyst and Chocolate?

Bashful and celery?

Pale and perfect plum?

Brocade blue and Clopse to cocoa?

Artichoke and celery?

I did a card with those two and used More Mustard and So Saffron. I forgot to take a pic before I mailed it or I would give you a link. It was very pretty though. That is a good combo when you are going for a soft subtle floral look. But it really depends on what look you are going for.

I like eggplant and saffron together as well as rose red and regal rose.

Hi Jody and everyone else..

Hey Jenn, upline extraordinaire

Focal image... was going to be just words from "happy everything" but the Happy doesn't fit the card orientation that french script is.

My whole point here was to show a bunch of newbies how fast they can get a professional card done (w/o any coloring, etc.).

I have an artichoke, eggplant, sand card that has "Birthdays are the best" as the focal but I was trying to steer away from that one (used it before ... it's from the Texas Gathering in Arlington... thanks to whomever it belongs to!). Anyway, I'm trying to use that same idea but with different stuff...

The other 2 things at the workshop are a card with Sassy Stems (coloring) with passion pink, turquiose, apricot, white (and the new paisley stamp) and a 2-4-6-8 box in ameythst and lilac. So, I'm trying to get a new color family for this 3rd one...

Too much info?

Thanks everyone! Any more suggestions?

If I had it, I would try the new cranberry crisp with b. burgandy, you know for a maroon effect! I'm sorry, I couldn't resist that, but I do really think it would look good! Good luck!
