Default Need Advice

I bought some retired Christmas stamps on ebay. There were several sets listed but of these sets there were really only two sets I wanted. When I recieved the stamps one of the sets I really wanted was missing two stamps. They were not listed on ebay as missing anything. I contacted the seller but they were just a consinment store, so they can't do much other than give me my money back. They said they would contact the previous owner about getting the missing stamps, but I haven't heard anything.

But my real question is... The previous owner's contact information is on the stamp boxes. Should I try to contact the previous owner directly or is that stepping out of bounds?

I wouldn't contact the previous owner as they are not the ones that listed the set. She could have sold it to the consignment shop with them knowing that they were missing. I would go back to the original seller on e-bay and either ask for your money back and then try to get the sets off of SCS or re-buy them off of someone else if you want the stamps that badly! What set was it?

I agree, the name on the box may not actually be who even gave them to the consignment store, I would just get my money back from the store that listed them on ebay.
