Default Need Advice

I am making cards to announce to everyone that my husband and I are expecting a baby. I have the general idea in mind...but have a question about the background. I haven't experimented or made any samples yet, but plan to start that this evening.

Here's my thought

I'm using Barely Banana C/S as the main card, the stamp will be Wash Day (Baby laundry on clothes line) which will be stamped on white c/s in black. I will color in the clothes/toys w/the colored pencils and blender pen. The stamped image will be mounted on gable green c/s and on the striped splash pattern paper (see pic below). Then I will be stamping out Baby/baby w/the brush stroke letter & punching w/circle punch & mounting w/dimensionals.

My question is....should I do anything else or will that be enough??? I don't want it to look like it's missing anything...or see too plain. I was thinking about taking the bib stamp from "The Fine Print" and stamping that in either versamark or barely banana as a background....but was afraid that might be too much. I also thought about using the hot to dot wheel.

All advice good & bad is welcome!!!

Thanks!!

I personally think that would be enough. If you add much more it might become a bit to busy. I love your idea! Can't wait to see it in the gallery! OH yeah-- CONGRATULATIONS!

The only other thing that I think you might incorporate into the card is some ribbon - baby pastel colors maybe to match the paper......Just an idea.....
