Default Names of stamp sets

I wondered if anyone could tell me of an easy way to find out what some of my older stamp set names are? I have several sets that are from around 2003-2006 that I did not keep track of the set name! I love viewing all the beautiful cards in the galleries and would love to get ideas for some of the sets I own, but think that the only way to do that would be to go through the entire alphabetized list and see if any of the stamps used look like those I own. Most of my stamp sets are retired, I am sure. If only I had known, I would have kept the names labled on the sets! Thanks!

Sometimes it works to use the gallery's "Advance Search." Put in two or three words that seem to apply and then click on the "Contains All Words" button before you click the "Execute Search" button.

Or you can post a message here that describes the set. "It has four stamps, one is a ____ and one is____" . Then ask if anyone knows the name. I have found that most people are very helpful.

I figured out the name of an old set of mine by looking for it on ebay. I searched for RETIRED STAMPIN UP sets. I looked through the offerings and there it was! Other people have posted thumbnail pics and asked for help identifying it and usually someone comes up with an answer. Good luck.

You! E-bay is a great place to find out the names of the sets. I found out that I had "Fanciful Flowers" in my magic box of stamp sets. Wahoo! :0)

That was a silly typo - I meant "I'm with you!"

Quite honestly, I don't mind doing this for people. It's kinda fun searching through my old catalogs, trying to find a certain set. It's like going on a treasure hunt!

So, what do you have that we can help you find?

Me too! At least, as far back as my catalogs go
