Hi!
I just found out that I have to make at least 100 invitations for my FIL's 80th birthday. He has been a farmer all of his life and LOVES tractors. I would love to find a realistic, detailed stamp of a tractor. The retired SU! set called "Tractor Time" would be perfect. If anyone has that and wants to sell it just pm me or email me at [email protected]. Or if anyone has other ideas where I can get similar stamps, please let me know!!! Thanks in advance for your help.
I know it is a very popular set and hard for people to part with. Maybe someone would be willing to send you 100 stamped images from the set. Then you can incorporate that into your invitations. Just a thought.
Just sent you an e-mail regarding sources for a couple of tractor stamps that I use and love....had a little trouble getting my e-mail to kick into gear, so I'm hoping it made it to you ok.

I found a cute little foam stamp at M's. It doesn't have alot of detail, but it was less than a dollar. See my nephew's scrapbook page: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

There was a set in the 2004-2005 Holiday Mini called "Peaceful Pastoral" that has a small tractor on it. It is retired. I used to have one, but I sold it. I'll bet if you searched the b/s/t forum or posted an ISO for it that someone will have it for you--and possibly at a very good price. It also has a stamp with a barn with a silo and weather vane with it that's pretty. I don't know if it'll work for you, but there are examples of the stamps in the gallery.
Good luck to you!

Thanks for your help , ladies! I tried to do a search on the site linked above and it said no matches for "tractor". How did you find those 3 stamps?
I tried the ebay thing but the Tractor Time set went for way out of my budget. Anybody else got any suggestions? You ladies are great!

Really? I went there, then clicked on "search" in the yellow bar. Then I typed in "tractor."
Here's more info:
Row Crop Tractor, Small
SKU: 512132
Part Number: CDD-458D
I have never bought anything from this site but I typed in tractor and this is what came up. There is a tractor if you scroll down to the bottom! Hope this helps.
Oh, thank you ! I found them. I'm worried that they may be a little small for a main focal image. What do you think?
I think my problem is that I fell in love with the retired SU! set "Tractor Time" and I'm looking for something just like that!!! But I can't afford to spend $63.10 on ONE SET OF STAMPS!!! (That's what they went for on e-bay last night!!!)I'm also freaking out a little cause I have so many to make and I can't start until I have some stamps! Deep breaths! Deep breaths! Oh no,now I'm hyperventilating! LOL. I appreciate you all so much for your help and for listening to me have a breakdown!

Did you look in the BST forum? Or maybe you post a request for someone to trade you 125 images for cardstock or something.
Okay, as an owner of Tractor Time (finally) many here can attest to how long it took me to find it...I got it off ebay, it cost me an arm and a leg, but I got it....once you jones for it, that's it..you won't quit til you get it...that being said, the John Deere one from Addicted to Rubber Stamps is almost identical to the Tractor Time one...could you maybe possibly use two of the stamps? I am willing to stamp the images for you and send them back you if you want to send me the cardstock...just tell me where on the CS and what color you want them...PM me if you need me...
The images on addictedtorubberstamps.com really would be too small for the focal point. I'm like you in that I fell in love with Tractor Time and didn't get it (funds were tight at the time when it was available in the catty). I kick my self for not getting it, but as much as I'd like to have it, I'm not paying that much for a set either. Amazing how some stamp sets retire and you can never find them anywhere and other ones retire and they're everywhere for less than the original catty price.
LOL, Juliana! You'd think since Robert is a computer programmer that he would help me, but he just gets frustrated over my ineptness with all things technological! So that's a good idea for Jonathan to help or even Rebecca. They are just both so busy now that they are in high school, and Jonathan is a senior! ( Can you believe it???)Thanks for the encouragement. I'll try anyway.
