Default Name Frames - Craft or Regular Ink?

Will they fade out (in time) if I don't use Craft Ink? I hate using Craft Ink - I always make such a mess with it smearing it everywhere but I also don't want a gift to ruin over time. What do you all use for your name frames?

I used Craft and my heat gun to dry each thing I stamped. I thought that for such a small project it was worth it to use ink that won't fade.

Never thought about the fading issue and have used classic on all of mine so far, including those for classes. I think for a gift item (not meant to last a hundred years) the classic ink should be just fine.
