Question Gallery question?

 Why are some of the cards displayed in the gallery tagged or photographed with person's name, 1990-? and the words copyright or trademark stampin' up? Certainly in more than 10 years no one can believe they are the only person to ever have that idea? I don't get it. Please explain it to me.

Because cards are made with Stampin' Up! images, they have to be labeled that way. The maker of the card isn't saying their idea is copyrighted, but that the images used to make it are. Any cards using SU! images need to say "Copyright 1990-2006 Stampin' Up!"

Good to know! Thank you. Is that for sale purposes? Do you need to put that on every card you send or give to someone and for every card you post on this forum?

If you sell your cards and they have SU! images on them, you are supposed to use one of the stamps from SU! that has their copyright on it, but you don't need to do that if you are just giving someone a card. Any card that is posted on the web does need to have copyright info on it.

The stamps you need to use on cards you sell are in the catalog.
