Default Another Future Floor finish questions

I just did a search & saw some cool uses for FFF. I saw that you can finish dominoes w/ it. So, can you use it to seal the coaster & tiles? How about a trivet? Will it take the heat? Is it water soluble? Or will condensation break it down?

Also, I can't find my Aquapainter w/ water in it, so I need to go get my FFF aquapainter & put water in it. Do i need to use soap & clean it, or just rinse well? The bristles aren't hard (I thought they might be!)

Full of questions & I need to be doing a zillion other things!

It's a floor wax, so it definitely should not be water-soluble once dry. Otherwise it would break down every time you spilled liquid on your floor! I doubt it could withstand the heat of a hot pan, though.

Rinsing with plain water is probably not enough to get all of the Future out of your aquapainter.

Thanks! Any ideas on what would break down the finish in my aquapainter? dishsoap?

Thank you!

I have a couple tiles in testing for heat that are sealed with Future Floor Finish. DD is using one and I have the other. Her's gets more use since I don't cook! DD's tile has been in use since Christmas with no adverse effects. Mine has seen a hot pan once.
