Default My ribbon and ink pad storage systems...

Hey all. Thought I would attach some pictures of my storage systems.

For my ribbon I use tension curtain rods, works wonderfully. Can really be used in a lot of places, cabinets, cupboards.... Anywhere with two paralel surfaces.

For my ink pads I use a Fellowes CASSETTE holder. Found at Walmart for like $14.00 or so. It holds All 48 classic pads, plus ALL 48 craft pads!! I love this system....Well, when I rotated this picture it was too big to upload???!, so I switched it back. You'll have to tip your head to see it

Is your ribbon above your stove? If so that is something I have never seen before. That is a great idea with the tension rods. I have been looking for something to put my ribbon on. I will have to try that.

I have seen other storage systems for ink pads, but I really like this one! how long ago did you get it? they don't make cassettes too much anymore so i can't imagine they will be carrying this much longer

Very neat... never thought of tension rods, might build myself a little "frame" out of wood and attach the tension rods to that. Don't you worry about the ribbon getting all "gunky" above the stove, mine sure would.

My walmart still has this cassette holder. Maybe you could even go to the company's website.

About the stove......I really should have clarified that is not a stove I use (Don't cook in the apt.. That would be pretty gross and I think my dh would have drawn the line at that one!!!!

I never thought of a tention rod for ribbon - I am defianately going to have to give that a try. You are very lucky to have a stamping retreat! I am lucky to have one room that I had to fight hard to get  I may have to look harder for a cassette storage case as well! Thanks for sharing

When we moved to Delaware and found this house it had an "in-law" apartment. My husband actually suggested I move my stuff out there, and it does work great for classes. My user name "spoiled stamper" is pretty fitting!!!
