I would rather not cut the table down either. BUT, I am going to use it to stamp/scrap and will have to sit at the sofas to do so. Right now, it's too high when you sit at the sofas. The top of the desk falls right at my B--bs. SLIGHTLY too high. I feel like a kid at the dinner table. lol

Jordan is going to cut it down, just a couple inches to put it at a perfect height to work at. The table was free (found it on the side of the road when I lived in Arlington VA. The man was inside still making the FREE sign when I knocked on his door to ask him about it. LOL) I have had it for about 4 years.

I don't have any chairs for it, but it fits perfectly in front of our sectional too if we EVER need to use it for dinner for guests. Again, it's a _little_ too high for the sectional, but after it's cut down it would be perfect.

I am crossing my fingers though. I would hate to ruin the table.

That is a good idea about using under the table for storage! I will have to find something that will work. Maybe I can find something that is tall enough that it will touch the bottom of the top of the table and give it a little more support. Right now it is super wobbly.

awww! I just love kitties! Don't you??

How the heck do you keep them off your stampin space?? I realize I can shut my door to the room, but I don't wanna!! I love looking at it! But I am scared to death that one day I will walk in there to cardstock ALL over the place and three happy kitties sleeping on top of it all!

I only allow 1 cat in my stamping room and she will be 20 in 2 months . . . not much jumping left in her but she is ALWAYS by my side in her own chair here in my 'office'. The other 2 cats have their own room that they stay in cause I am afraid they will hurt my oldest cat. I would recommend leaving space by the sliding doors so they can sun and hopefully will be content with that. (HA!) maybe you can use one of those baskets under the table for a toy box for the cats or just a basket for them to climb in, cause you know they will do it anyway! snort!

OMG I didn't know cats lived to 20. Tina you must be looking after that cat really well. She is lucky to have you as an owner.

Default Lots of new updates!

Okay! First off, here is the room! It's really messy, as in the middle of moving some craft stuff over, I decided to make a card with the very few stamping thigs I have. You can find the card here.

The room!

I will be adding two shelving units from Ikea as well. I haven't decided if I want to do one on each side of the window, or put one to the right of the window, and he other perpendicular to it, on the sofa wall (in place of the paper sorter), so that it looks like a corner unit.

The shelves!

These boxes in all different sizes on the shelves to hold tools, supplies, embellishments etc.

It looks as though things are moving right along. Who would think that blue could be so feminine looking, but with your white and pink accents, it is so pretty.

I forgot to mention that the ikea boxes will be differing sizes, and in black only. That helps to visualize.
