My Michaels finds
i went to mike today i had the 25 off coupon that expired at Noon, I got all the K & CO paper packs, they are 9.99 each and they are 30 off, there were 6. PLus I found all the matching chipboard letters and stickers.!! I also bought the Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge, All the other carts were not for me. I mostly got jewelry stuff at Mike's yesterday. DH wanted to get out of the house and came with me. It was funny watching all the ladies busily bustling around in the class room where they had all the $30 Cricut carts.

I managed to score at my Michaels today too. I got a $25 Martha Stewart punch and was going to use my 50% off coupon. Imagine my surprise when it rang up at 16.99 and then 50% off! Someone must have scanned it wrong at some point because that is how much the small punches normally are at Michaels here in Canada.

Congratulations! Getting all that for under $100 is pretty awesome!
I stayed away, but I'm envious.

My store had a lot. I bought Cars, Mickey font and stretch your imagination. They had Tink too, but I have sons. I was on the fence about the Christmas one so I left it behind. I may go back in the morning for the stamp sale.

I stayed away from M's. I was in there recently, but didn't see any must-haves. I did go into Joann's and didn't see a thing. I was really disappointed in their sale, with the exception.... except for their stamp sale... but I didn't need or want any.

I went last night with my daughter...picked out 3 or 4 cartridges...and then decided NOT to get the cartridges in favor of the storage cubes. I bought 6 of them (varied) at 40% off PLUS the 20% off total! I was jazzed, but left them all in the garage, not knowing how my DH would react... (We just bought a new bedroom set that was 'suppose' to be our Christmas gift!)
Then I brought ONE cube in, showed it to DH and told him how much they were discounted...he said I should have bought TWO!! LOL I just smiled and said..."Well, I did, sort of..." He asked how many...when I told him SIX, he asked where I was going to put them (He's seen my stamp room!)
When I told him that I wanted to 'redesign' my stamp room and 'donate' one of my 4' tables and some stamping stuff to our daughter (who just moved out and has started scrapbooking), he was all for it!!
So........of course, I told him about the 25% off total purchases for today! He went with me this morning and I got SIX more!!!
We went to a few other stores today as well doing some Christmas shopping and he said (more than once) "I think Michael's had the best sale today!"
Yep, I'm keepin' him!

Michael's Shopping
I did not fall for any of the hype today as far as shopping at Michaels or anywhere else. I spent the day at my house entertaining my family and friends. My purse is a lot heavier for it too.

I was dying to go get the storage cubes. What a great deal. I need three more to complete my "space". But I'd already put them on my christmas list so I resisted. I sure hope Santa brings them now or I'll be majorly disappointed.

I went to Jos last night and didn't see much although I didn't have that much time since I was there about 20 min before close. I got a few jewelry items again. There just wasn't anything in the scrapbooking or stamping that looked interesting. I think they've had the same stuff for the most part for a long time and it is getting kinda old.

Yeah, that's what I think about J's, too. They didn't have good sales outside of the stamps, and like you said, same old same old stamps.

I'm sure you're on Santa's "good" list! Wouldn't it be wonderful if Santa delivered them put together??!!!
Here's hoping for you, too!

I didn't go until today, and I got an Ott light that was normally $80 for $19.95!!! Score! I too was disappointed in J's. I didn't get one thing there. I saw the same Ott light at J's, and it was only 50% off. I win!

I didn't get to Michael's until 2pm today. They did not have the boxes, bags & tags cartridge I was hoping to find. Oh well, maybe next year. I got a bunch of those 12 x 12 storage cases reg. $8.99 for $2.99 each, some Wilton melts for $1.29 each, and some $1 holiday ribbon. Sales were good.

I got 3 large wood stamps --normally $12.99 each--for $5.20 apiece. I also got an MS diamond border punch for $5.99. So just on those 4 items, I saved over $32.
