I'm thinking about getting the Basics Outline & Buds jumbo wheels from the summer mini. My question to those who have these wheels is how well are you able to line them up on top of each other?
I always thought that it would be next to impossible to line them up ...
Yeah, I thought the same thing. Then as I was comtemplating whether or not to buy them before the deadline, I decided to pose the question here and see what others had experienced. SCS is such a GREAT resource, isn't it?!
Actually, I'm trying to convince myself that I can achieve the same looks using only the two wheels so I won't have to buy the coordinating set. Any thoughts on that?

You won't be able to do multiple colors as easily, as it takes a little bit of jumping through hoops to wheel in more than one color. I use the solid images from the set to fill in the shapes from the outline wheel -- there's an example in my gallery!

Hmmmm . . . that makes sense. I liked the look of the one in your gallary. Maybe I should get the set and the outline wheel instead??
I was trying to find a cheaper way out, but I see what you're saying about different colors. I guess I just need to face it--there IS no cheaper way out when it comes to this hobby!

PS When adding a quote from someone else's post, how do I include the name of the poster?
