mounting Very Punny

I know I have seen threads about mounting Very Punny with the image seperate from the words and I would like to do this. Does anyone have any hints on cutting the words apart from the pictures? Most of them seem too close to cut between without ruining the image or words. Any hints would be appreciated!! Thanks

i am planning on mounting the words seperate.

the image in the catalog seems to allow room. i guess i'll have to wait till i get them. looks like a couple might be tight (but i think i trim some of mine closer than some people, just because if you rock it just a little you can get that edge of ink and if you don't check before you stamp it... @#$%^&*)
-but i really think it will be ok.

good luck! let us know!

I mounted my words separately and love them. Plenty of room and they work great!

You may want to try using a pair of the Paper Snips or similar scissors with narrow blades. I have a pair of HoneyBee scissors that I used to trim my rubber stamps before I broke down and got the SU Craft & Rubber scissors. The HoneyBees are similar to the SU Paper Snips, but the blades have a teflon coating so things don't stick to them too badly. Anyway, because the HoneyBee blades are thinner than the Craft & Rubber scissor blades, I still use them from time to time to trim rubber in narrow places.

I've heard of other people using an Xacto knife to separate a sentiment from an image, but I'm not comfortable enough with my knife to try it myself.
