if you unmount your stamps, what do you do with the left over wood?
I unmounted all my stamps last year and continue to do so with any new wood mounted stamps. But now I have this box of wood mounts and no idea what to do with them. Suggestions?

You can sell them on eBay. An auction just ended that someone sold wood from 27 sets, she got $53 for it. It's something...enough to pay for a few sets anyways. You can list them in BST. People who buy unmounted like to mount some, so they buy the wood. Sometimes I break up my stamps - you know you have 3 flowers that is one stamp, I break them up, and if they don't fit on a side, then I steal wood from the incentive stamps or another set. So sometimes I need wood to replace from sets I've stolen from. LOL!
I need some wood for some stamps. PM me with your price and what you have.

I'm in the process of unmounting and cataloging all my stamps. It's winter here in New Zealand and we have a wood fire, so my blocks are making for great kindling ....! LOL
Right now I have a bunch sitting on a chair in my stamping room...gathering dust. There are at least 50 wood blocks...varying sizes.
For a flat rate stamp ($8.10) I will mail them to whoever wants them.
Just send me a PM.
I missed Nancy's offer by a minute. If anyone has any woodblocks you don't want, please don't burn them. Please PM and see what we can work out. I need some wood for some of my unmounted stamps!
Thanks so much!

building blocks is what I am going to do with mine. I have new grandkids, one of them just getting old enough to play with blocks. And I have BUNCHES of blocks...and BUNCHES more to come!
Ok, I'm confused. Why do you unmount them? And if so, what are you using to stamp them with? thanks.
Well some of them are unmounting them because of space.
As a Demo for TAC we sell all of our stamps unmounted. They come with Ezmount foam.
And our Rubber stamps are to be used with a Acrylic block instead of a wood block.
Save space and money at the same time.
Unmounted Stamps are about 1/2 the cost of wood mounted stamps.
