Question Mounted or unmounted stamps for auction?

I am some stamp sets (new) that I am donated in a basket for an auction. Do I mount the stamps or leave them as is?

I am inclined to mount them because most of the time that is what folks expect, but for those that know SU might not think the stamps are new?

What do you do???

Thanks,
Jen

I would consider your audience. If there are people who don't normally purchase SU, then I would mount them because trying to mount them with regular scissors really bites. Even if you did mount them and they went to a SU person, it would be obvious that they weren't used by their clean nature! Just my 2 cents.

I'd agree. You have to decide who is going to bid on them. Personally I'd prefer them unmounted but that is because I prefer to use acrylic blocks as opposed to wood.
