I love the altered tins, soup cans, jars, crystal light containers BUT.... what do you fill them with? any ideas of what you could fill them with for family members? Male and female. Besides candy that is? HELP!!

If you are using it in place of packing, almost anything including gift cards. Bath salts (or hand lotion, bubble bath stuff), tea or cocoa mixes, small toys for kids, small hand tools or flashlights. You could even repackage those small food assortment gifts that are popular at the holidays (Walmart carries them) so that a little less like a prefab gift and more personal.

You can put jewerly in the small ones, stamps for your crafty people, watches for men, small toys like above said. You could always take one with you when you shop so you will know if something will fit

Depending on the size you can roll up socks, underwear, hankerchiefs (vintage ones might be pretty) scarfs, mittens, put in hair stuff for a girl, matchbox cars for a boy....

Great job Edee on having the time and motivation!!:p

Like the other ladies have mentioned-I'm sure there would be lots that you could fit inside of your altered containers.

Spa kits, hot chocolate, coffee and other yummies, Movie night-with a GC to Blockbuster and a micowavable popcorn and popcorn seasoning, jewellry, small toys, socks, scarf and mitts, how about for the chef some kitchen gadgets?

Sounds like fun! Let us know what you decide.
