CHALLENGE - Semi stamping related.......

I am sitting here being comsumed by my own desk - it has taken a life of its own.

Here is the challenge - clean off a portion of your desk - I know the WHOLE thing seems too daunting - and see what you find!

I have jsut done a wee corner and found the following :

$43 check from my SIL - cool! Totally forgot about this gift! Hmmm.... what to buy - I;m thinking paper!

Embellishments - so *that's * where I put them!

An overdue library book - ok maybe the $43 will for to that!!!!

A pack of Barely Banana - when did I order that????? Have NO clue nor for what - obviously something specific as it was the only thing in the order!

My Daughters hair bandana she has been obsessing about! I almost punished her and told her to check under her bed - oops! :oops:

A 1/2 box of bandaids -

$2.00 in change!

Now ladies - this was jsut a wee corner of my desk!!!

So roll up those sleeves and lets see what kind of "treasures" are hidden on our desks!!!

I did that yesterday and all I found were bills. :oops: (and a place for DH to put more things)

I did my stamping table this morning! I didn't find anything wonderful, but it's a relief to have it done.

but I did find a half of a candy bar that my son left behind...

My 3-1/2 yo had found mom's scrap/stamproom to be such an exciting place!

OK then - a countertop in your kitchen - a junk drawer that it all gets shoved into....

OK - strike that - go do your hubby a BIG favor and make him feel good and tidy HIS desk and see what treaures you find to put into your stamp stash!!!

Come on ALL creative people have SOME where that is a wee bit "untidy" if you don't like the word "messy"!!!- its part of the process! :shock:
