Default Mod Podge

I've never used mod podge before, but you would think it would be dry by now! What do the directions say about drying time? I've used SU Crystal Effects for a raised, shiny effect, and it works great!

The directions say 15-20 min. drying time, but I noticed on the book markers that I did two days ago are still sticky. Thanks for your suggestion.

I've used mod podge for years, but never on cards... it's designed to be used for decupage (that's soooo not spelled right)... you can make "collages" (kinda) on almost any surface (wood, plastic) by using it to adhere other elements (like tissue paper or photos)... I'd try just using a glossy acrylic sealer. Though it IS odd it's still not dry. You may have used too much? It really doesn't take a lot. But, like I said, that may be because you used it on just paper.

Thanks, I will try a glossy acrylic sealer for cards! Mod podge did work well on the altered paper containers I made this am, but they ARE cardboard! Now I am trying to find other things to collage! JUST because I love mod podge!

I love mod podge but use clear tulip paint or Aleenes paper effects on my cards. Never thought to try mod podge for that.
