??? is there a Michael's coupon today?

Hi everyone !

I was just wondering if anyone received a Michael's coupon in today's paper? I'm at work & the ones that we get for the patients didn't have any ads.....

No ad in my paper either. I checked online, and none of my local stores seem to have ads.

I'm wanting to buy a Cricut, I've already checked JoAnn and ACMoore, both are out of stock. I'm getting resigned to the fact that I can't use a coupon, my Mike's won't accept a competitors' coupon if they don't have a coupon that week. So I'm wondering how everyone knows that they're on "sale" at Mikes this week? I didn't see an ad in last week's paper either, though. And ACMoore has stopped advertising in the paper too. I guess since there's so little competition in my area, they no longer need to put the coupons out there.

I didn't see one. I didn't see them last week either though and they are usually every other week. I must have missed that at some point.

I just checked online becuase my paper didn't have one either and the site said no ad this week. I would have thought mothers day would have been a good day to put one out. Oh well we are taking our mom there anyway today.

There was one last week, so they is the "off week". As for when I know when they have one, I get one in the Sunday paper and usually in a circular that I get in the mail mid-week. I didn't get one mid-week last week, so I was pretty sure there wouldn't be a coupon this week. Urgh!!

There was two coupons in last weeks ad (at least here in British Columbia). Both were 40% off coupons, one for last week and one for this week.

I usually check on their website to see if there's a flyer out. I do the same for acmoore. You'll find a lot of times that if it's any type of holiday weekend, Michael's doesn't usually have a sales ad. Sometimes they do, so check out their website on Sunday to know for sure. My local paper is notorious for not having the Michaels ad in even when Michaels has one for the week, so I always check. The only reason I get my paper is for the ads and coupons!

It's a new die-cut machine that Michael's will be carrying. I believe the ad last week said that they were having an in-store demo this weekend -- and I think that was scheduled for yesterday.

Seriously, you would think Mother's Day would be a great day for Michael's! If I had cash, that's where I would be!!!

There was a Michael's coupon in my paper today ---BUT it wasn't a slick color insert like it usually is. It was black and white and took up one page in the A section of my Sunday paper. WIERD!! And the coupon was about 6 x 6 inches square. Makes me wonder if they are trying something new to save money.
