I had a question asked at a recent workshop. A customer was wanting to know if they could dry emboss on a metal tag using a classy brass template. Has anyone tried this? I've only seen the tag sheet once, and never tried using them at all, so I'm not even sure how thick and pliable they are. Any thoughts?
I have used just the sheet metal that they sell in the scrapbook stores, cut it into a tag with my sizzix, and then dry embossed it with a template. It is much thinner so it is possible to cut it in the machine and emboss it.
Thanks so much for your answers! She ended up getting them, and I got some myself to play around with too. If she can't emboss them, I'm sure she will find something else to do with them!
At Michael's, you can get thin metal called Art Emboss. It comes in a tube. I have embossed on that before and it works great. The SU metal tags are too thick.

She can heat emboss on them. It was in one of the Stampin' Success issues this year but I can't remember which one.
