Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has the exact instructions on how to make Christmas crackers??
It would be greatly appreciated as I can't seem to find them anywhere.
Thanks a heap,
Nicole

Take a look at this webpage; Some Christmas Craft Ideas. Scroll down a wee bit and they've described what you need and how to make one. Here's a quote.

CHRISTMAS CRACKERS
Christmas crackers are a traditional part of the British Christmas and are used to decorate the table at dinner, tea or both. Bought crackers usually contain a paper hat, a "novelty" (unless you have been really extravagant, a small plastic toy,) a joke (traditionally really AWFUL : sample: "What does Santa call his blind reindeer? No-eye-deer!" Honestly - I got that one in my cracker this year!) and a "snap" - the gadget which makes the whole thing go "BANG" when you pull it. It should go bang. It usually goes bang. Take my advice, either prepare to spend a little more on your crackers, or you could make your own : all you need is the inner cardboard tubes from toilet or kitchen rolls, some fancy paper, thread and something to put in your cracker. Here in the UK we can buy the paper "snaps" from novelty and craft shops, but they are not essential - you can have a cracker that doesn't go "bang" when you pull it.
