Mellow Moss Kitchen!!
 

I have been trying to find the perfect green to paint my kitchen for months. Yesterday I was making some cards when it hit me that mellow moss was the color I was looking for. So I took a sheet of mellow moss cardstock to Home Depot, the guy behind the counter scanned it into the paint computer and in 5 minutes I had mellow moss paint.

So that got my wheels turning, now my daughter wants her room pixie pink...but I think that would a little harsh on the eyes. So she decided on apricot, turqoiuse, and celery...because she wants it to be surfer/hawaiian. I guess you have to think warm through the WI winters :)


I just thought I would share, in case anyone else is stuck trying to figure out what color to paint a room. Grab your color coach, cardstock and then head to the paint store!!

Guess you will be busy this weekend. I love a freshly painted room. Especially if I wasn�t the labor. :)

You know the drill, post the pictures when your done. We�re a bunch of voyeurs aren�t we. :D

my office at work is MM with black frames. I love it, its so soothing

My LR/Dr is MM and I lOVE it!! I'm so glad I painted it last year...even though at the time I didn't realize it was MM! :) My picture frames are all kind of a burgandy color...looks very beautiful.

Your kitchen will look so pretty! I can't wait to see pics of it and your daughter's room.

Oh what a great idea. I can't wait to see how it turns out!!! Before I looked at this thread I thought maybe Emily was the one posting it because she was saying the other day she wanted to paint a room this color. I think it will be very relaxing. Love the colors and theme your DD picked out as well!

Yep! My kitchen is in Mellow Moss and Great Room in Barely Banana - but that may need to change to So Saffron.

I wish I had known I could do that, I tried to do a mellow moss for our office and ended up with something closer to green galore. I finally found a pair of DD's pants that were closer so I put them on her and took her to Home Depot and compared the swatches to her little tush. (Since she kept running)
It looks much better now!
