My only complaints are the left justified thing where each word takes up a separate line, but also the posts that are unrelated to stamping, i.e, Sister of the Reading Bellas? I love to read as well, but I keep those posts limited to the book section down in the entertainment forum. I just think the same rules ought to apply to all.

Too much of the non-stamping.

Hi Unity friends! Happy Tuesday! I'm still a bit in *oscar* mode this morning, so keeping along that line, here's our question of the day:
Who is your favorite Hollywood couple right now? I have to go with Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer
Do you consider this a General Stamping discussion?

I'm
still
not
liking the
MC
threads
here.
I know where the MC forums are-- having them in GS does not make me want to read them more. Just one stamper's opinion.

Krystal-
We are all trying to adjust to the change in how we do and see things here.
Just as it is an adjustment for you all to now see the MC threads, our "regulars" who have been used to posting freely are trying to also adjust how they post in our forum.
That's what a community is all about, trying to make it work for all.
Occasionally, I do see non-stamping discussions here IN GS and just overlook them as well.
Please understand we are all adjusting to this and trying to make it work.

for instance- this thread, but I also think we all have a different interpretation of what's related and what isn't, which makes it hard to please all.

Yay!! We are back to one-liners. I don't care if they are related to stamping so much as that 4-line thing was bugging me!
Thanks worker bees!!

Daven, thank you so much for fixing all the issues and I do really appreciate the work you and the "worker bees" do for us.
I guess I'm just a whinny kind of person because I still just really do not like what is going on with posts. I know I'm going to affend some, but a post about recipies? I just don't understand why suddenly people are posting these kinds of things? I don't visit the non-stamping related threads and it was great having a choice. Now, it seems there is no choice but to scan through a find the truly stamping related items. Sometimes you can tell by the title that it's not stamping related, but sometimes it gets really hard to tell.
I am glad we have companies that want to support SCS but since this started I find I don't like the site as much as I used to and quite frankly, I was begining to think I was addicted to SCS almost as much as I'm addicted to paper crafts. I really, really hope that we can get back to SCS as it was before. please?

I know that getting non-stamping related things out of General Stamping is high on everyone's priority list, so hang in there! Good stuff takes time!

For a while last night, the first page of the General forum was returning a database error. Daven posted that they have disabled the member company feeds until they can solve it.

I'm glad that they're gone too. I found it annoying to have to keep skipping over them to check out the regular threads.

I go right to page 2, I guess I still don't understand why they are here when there is a forum for them.... I seldom even look at the General forum any more.

Personally, if there is an MC icon next to it, I skip over the thread. I don't even read the title. Having them in the general forum has made me visit SCS, which I would have to believe, is exactly the opposite effect this change was intended to have.

That's exactly what I do too! With the MC icon there, I know exactly what threads to just skip right past without bothering to check out the title. Since I'm annoyed by them, I vow to never bother opening one LOL!

I Just renewed my membership and I was wondering how much the MC pay SCS to do this to us? I wonder if a raise in fees would make it go away, not that I want to pay more, but I was just wondering. Any ideas?

I still very much dislike the navigation stuff on the left side and having to scroll all the time.
