Making Memories "Oprah/Ellen Birthday Contest"

I'm not one that likes to be in the limelight but had to share this with my fellow SCS sisters and brothers because I know you all will appreciate my excitement!

I entered the Making Memories contest for Oprah/Ellen's birthday. I designed these two cards:

Imagine my surprise when I received an email from Making Memories telling me that I was 1 of 5 winners!!! I read the email at work and had to call someone...that someone was my sil (SCS: Bretta) who was absolutely squealing with joy for me (something that I wanted to do but was at work)...

Before I even saw your entries in your gallery, I picked yours on the MM site as my favorite. I have the Runway Collection in pink and I love the tote. I can't believe how exciting it must be to win one filled with goodies. Well done! :D

We were suppose to send MM photos of our cards and send the cards directly to Oprah &/or Ellen.

There is another Washingtonian that won and she was so sweet to contact me...gotta love crafty people...there always seems to be an instant connection. That's why I love SCS....
