a suggestion from kjboatright

Hiya!

I remember someone asked about this once and I had posted a reply, so I found the thread:

So stumped...sealing glossy tiles for making message/memo boards?? <---in the first post, she has examples.

In that thread, I link to another thread. Here's a reply from kjboatright:

I covered the images with Crystal Effects. Worked beautifully!

So, here's the breakdown to make the memo tiles as per kjboatright:
  • Stamp with StazOn ink
  • Colour in with sharpies
  • Bake at 350F for 20mins.
  • Coat images with Crystal Effects

Maybe someone else has experience with this or more ideas?

That's pretty much how you do it. Stamp with stazon or other permanent ink - I used Palette inks. Then so you don't rub them off later - you seal with an acrylic sealer. Put masking tape or something over the areas you are NOT sealing. The glossy tile acts as a white board.

this is one i did

and I've tried to answer any that have pm'd me with questions, sometimes if you question in the comments I don't always see it... HTH!!
