do you or do you plan on owning all the reinkers for your SU stamp pads and markers.
I have most of the colors I want for classic ink pads.and I have 2 sets of the markers EE.RR,and just ordered the SS.Next month I plan on getting the BB sp that I'll have them all. It's taking me about 3 years to finaly get them all.Do I really need to buy all the reinkers for these or are they just going to sit and collect dust.
How many of you bought the reinkers to go with your pads.I'm sure most Demo's have do to the amount of stamping you do because of classes/workshop and tend to use them more. But for other people do you buy them as a set or as you needed them.or haven't gone that way yet.Just curious how often you need to reink your pads.I have had mine for about 3 years now.and some may need reinking about now.

I was just thinking about this the other day. I've had my pads for about 3 years too. Thanks for posting this question; I'm looking forward to hearing the answers.
I bought all the spots last year so I do plan on buying the reinkers as I need them. I was actually thinking this morning that I'll add the SS reinkers to my club order next month as a few of those aren't quite as juicy as I'd like them to be. I use them the most it seems.
I've bought reinkers for the in colour ink pads that will be retired, and as for the others, I'll just get them as I need them. I got a set of EE pads used and it came with some of the reinkers, but not all, so I need to gradually add them to my collection.

I did buy all the reinkers shortly after I purchased my stamp pads. I use them often but have decided that as my stamp pads get dry (this has only happened to one in about 3 years and I stamp often) that I will purchase a new stamp pad rather than try to reink them. I use my reinkers for different techniques. I tend to be a technique junkie so as I stumble across one I want to try, I don't want to have to wait for supplies to ship. I think they were worth the investment, but haven't had success reinking the stamp pad ... it comes out kind of streaky. I could be doing it wrong?!
I can't buy all the color families at once so when I get a yen to own a certain color I buy the CS, Classic Ink Pad and Reinker at the same time. The reinkers are used for so much more than reinking that I do think they are a valuable tool to have. Since they are only $2.50 I find they are worth it for me to have them.
I do....and for the incolor ones, I've been buying 2-3. What I do is use my $15 in free merchandise on reinkers. Given that the classic reinkers are $2.50 each...that works out to 6 each time. ;)

Several years ago, I had a huge party during Sellabration and earned almost all the reinkers as my free hostess stuff. Since I didn't want to "buy" the reinkers (they're really not as much fun as new rubber or accessories), I made it my goal to get them free.
I have all the spots and all the markers, I also have all the BB classic pads and a few others. I have all the RR reinkers and plan on getting the other families as money permits.
I have all of the the classic pads and re-inkers. I added them on free as my hostess benefits. I once saw a post with over 30 ways to use them in techniques. I use them more for that plus I cannot wait for an order to come in if I find one of my pads are getting dry. I need to take care of that right away. ;)

Keeping in mind that Im my best customer I have all the colors in both classic & craft along with the re-inkers. I bought all the craft with re-inkers one month then the next I got the classic. I got them because a friend of mine that calls herself a frustrated artist has always told me she never buys a stamp pad without buying the re-inker at the same time. Nothing worse than finally having time to play only to find you have a dry pad of the only color you want to use.
stampinsister1 if it comes out kind of streaky, have you tried blending the ink with the side of a credit card? I keep all cards I get with the junk mail and use them for spreading around ink or other techniques. This has worked for me very well. No streaks.
I bought all four sets of reinkers at the same time. I put a drop or two in the top of my stamp pad and add a drop of water to water color with. The color is really vibrant. There is no waste, the ink stays in the top of the pad even when you close it and is still there for next time.I've had all my stamp pads for over 3 years and I don't think they are even close to being out! I'd probably just order a new stamp pad instead of reinking it though.
I have all the classic pads except the new colors. I am slowly getting reinkers by adding at least two to every order; sometimes more. First for the pads that seemed to be drying out then for those that looked fun for techniques.
I plan on stalking up in the next couple of months I added up what I need and it came up to $82.00 for all the reinkers I need.so I will divide this up in the next few months and get them. That is if the spring mini catalog doesn't kill me.

I buy the pads/reinkers @ the same time so that hopefully they are from the same dye lot. I have some markers and pads that aren't even CLOSE in color! It's really annoying to use the pen to color something in, stamp with the pad to coordinate, and the 2 colors look like they are 2 totally DIFFERENT colors. My Brocade Blue pad/pen don't match. And a few others, I just used this color this morning so that's why it's fresh in my mind!
I absolutely love reinkers independent of the pads and markers. My favorite form of coloring is an aquapainter and reinkers on watercolor paper. If you have a look at Yvette's gallery you will understand why, her coloring is amazing and she uses reinkers a lot.
I am NOT a demo and most of my ink pads are 4 to 5 years old, they are all starting to need reinking. I have already bought my favorite reinker colors and will be adding all the rest over the next few months! I always add 2 to 3 of them with each order, that isn't so painful as a whole group at once! Sell-a-bration might be a great time to stock up on them in groups, though!

I'm just about finished up collecting all of my Craft Spots and then I'm going to start on the regular Classic pads. And since I like to collect things, I'll probably get the reinkers soon after that.
Sellabration time is a great time to get your reinkers. You get free stamps too! I just ordered all my classic ink reinkers and 2 sets of my craft reinkers. I only have 3 sets of craft spots, so I need one more set! I will probably order that next month. I got so much free stuff with this order and now I have them ready when I need them. Woo hoo!
I wanted them all, I needed them all, and I got them all. Over time. The reinkers are great for watercoloring with the brushes or aquapainters, for the shaving cream technique, Polished Stone technique and a plethora of other techniques that would come to mind if I thought on it long enough.

I have all classic ink pads (48 colors plus 9 retired colors and plus 6 in colors) and all reinkers for all of my ink pads plus I also have all of the spots both classic and craft. I also have all of the markers as well.
I am planning on getting all of them. I am worried though I am getting ready to do a military move and I am worried they will refuse to pack them. I don't want to waste my money!
Have all the pads for 3 years now just got reinkers and inked them all they work great again! Personally I am glad I waited on the reinkers cause I just felt I needed them now cause the pads were getting dry
