Just received my long awaited paper piecing punches from SU. I heard something, looked outside and saw a Budget Rental Truck in the street across from my house. Thought, hmm, thats strange nobody is moving.... Then saw the UPS man get out of the truck with my package!!
He walked up and delivered my package....poor guy I think he's tired of people asking about the truck. Apparently we are keeping UPS so busy that they had to go rent trucks to get them all delivered!!

I finally got my punch last week and have been so busy trying to get all my Christmas stuff done I haven't even got to use it yet. Now if that isn't sad I don't know what is.
I just had a visit from my USP guy and in St. Paul they are still using the brown trucks here. But he sure was cute.

UPS does that every year around Christmas. They usually hire or use other employees to deliver and have to use rental trucks for those people. My UPS man is my hubby so I know this stuff!! I'm just happy to be getting some of this stuff that's been on backorder. Here's hoping my paper piecing punch arrives today!!!
Yes Ang, its me.....been lurking for a very, very long time.
Denise
BTW- missed you at the christmas meeting.....
Thanks! And welcome aboard! I SEE that you joined around the same time as me - I lurked for awhile before that too. Now I practically live in the forums! I was sad to miss the meeting - no sitter! And really tired of hubby workin' nights... It's really crampin' my SU! style!
SO - NO more lurkin! I wanna see you in the forums and the gallery!!

Hee hee, so do you get to see him during the day make deliveries, or does he just bring it home with him at night?? (It would suck to know you have something coming and have to wait to get it at night...)
Well my UPS guy didn't come in a Rent-A-Truck, but he was hauling a mid sized trailer on the back of his truck. Never saw this until this year and had to laugh. Guess our business is doing pretty good huh? Well at least it's a happy thought!

I just got mine the other day also. When you punched with it the first few times did it leave wet spots on your cs? Is this grease or something? I'm hoping it only does this the first few times. Carol

Mine did too. I think it's manufacturing residue. I punched a few times using cheapo paper/cardstock and it works great now.
