Default Lowes Rocks--stamping space underway!!

I have been wanting a better stamping space for some time now. My DH said I could make one in the basement but the budget is very tight. Three weeks ago we found countertops clearanced for $2 per foot so we got a 10' section. I have been searching the paper and hardware stores for cabinet deals but not much has been out there. I called Lowes this morning to ask if they by chance had any clearance cabinets. They did!!! The drawers are slightly damaged but DH can probably fix. I got 2 base cabinets for 60.00!!!! The space is coming together. Just an FYi for anyone in the same situation financially as me but really wanting a nice stamping space. Keep looking and calling places like Lowes.
I also have decided to become a demo so I am jumping up and down with joy!!!
Thanks for letting me share, it doesn't take much to get me psyched!!

How exciting to be getting your own stamping space!!! And what a deal at Lowe's!!! We're in the market for new cabinets for our laundry room, so I'll have to check them out!!

Hubby and I began "demolition" of my stamping room today. Not really a demolition, but the room needs TONS of work!!! I learned how to repair walls, fill in holes with joint compound, etc., and next he'll show me how to sand and smooth all the rough surfaces. We are going to try to prime the room tonight as well. I can't wait till it's all finished. I even ordered a whole room full of office furniture from Viking, which is due to arrive Monday. I'll post pictures when I'm through!

Good luck with your project, and be sure to share photos with us!!
