Lori Lynn's Gallery
Has anyone had trouble getting on the website by Lori Lynn? This is a great site that I enjoy visitings but I haven't been able to get on it for the past few days. I hope it isn't down completely. Has the address changed?

I have a question of those of you that have samples on her site (which, by the way, I used to visit all the time for the great samples, until I discovered SCS). How come she has so many of the samples that are on THIS site? Are you all buddies? Does she come here and I just don't know her posting name? Do you send her pictures of your cards and she puts them on her site or does she just copy them from here and paste? I've always wondered that, for there are so many cards on her site I've seen elsewhere. Where do they originally get posted? Here? THere? SU?

Lori asked some time ago if she could post some of my stuff on her gallery. She's really good about giving credit to those people whose stuff she posts, so I said yes, kind of as a blanket approval. I was so honored that she asked me! I believe she's used scans from here, and from a yahoo group that we are both on.
If you are copying and pasting from any site, that is the best thing to do - give credit to the person who took the time to create it. Lori's done this, and we all appreciate her for it! __________________ Jenn Balcer

Lori contacted me about some cards since we were both in a yahoogroup together. I love her site as well and think she does a great job crediting people.
All of these sites require so much work-I am sure I have NO IDEA of all that is involved, so here is another THANKS!!! to everyone here at SCS (and yes, I know that was off-topic!)  __________________

I gave her approval to post one card and she has felt free to go to my website and copy everything she wants. I'm not complaining because she does credit me freely and looking at who else is posted up there, I feel like I'm in good company. In fact, I told her that my only requirement was that she put "Stamper Extraordinaire" under my name (it was a joke!) and she actually does it everytime, LOL! |

She contacted me some time ago requesting permission to post some of my designs. I agreed, but didn't hear from her again, so I was thrilled to find this thread and to be able to check out her site. She's posted several of my designs (under my real name!) that she has cut and pasted from this site. I noticed several other familiar names, too! Does anyone know if she has any of her own work posted here?

I believe she lurks somewhere here on SCS...Lori Lynn emailed me and asked permission to post my samples on her site that she had seen here and I gave her permission to do so! So now every so often I go check to see what she has posted of mine on her site.
I love her site too.. its set up so nice and she credits the artist appropriately.

Yes, we are all buddies! Stampin' Up! demos are all one great big huge family of sisters.... with a brother mixed in here and there! lol
Lori is very cool about asking permission to post cards on her gallery. I think she is a member here, although I don't know for sure and don't know her member name. But, she did contact me and I gave her permission to use whatever she wanted of mine. I know she is very careful and considerate when getting samples and making sure everyone gets proper credit. She is such a sweet thing!!! Awesome site too!
Gotta love Lori.... in a stampin kinda way that is!

I have been unable to access the card section of the gallery as well. Some of the other sections I have problems with but it give a different reason. The card gallery tells me access denied.

Someone asked if she has her own samples on that site: she does, and she is a very talented stamper! You can search by a particular person's name under "artist gallery" to see all the cards by that person to find all of her contributions or someone elses.
