I have it, but I'm not renewing. Its just not my "style". They have some good ideas and layouts, but they tend to use lots of stickers, which I don't.
Personally, I'm liking Stamp It! and PaperCrafts more and more. HTH

I have bought it a couple of times and there are usually one or two interesting things in it but I find there is a lot more that catches my eye in Papercrafts and Stamp it! I also like the layout of the other two magazines better. Just my opinion.
I took it for one year and did not renew. I can't say I made one single card from any of the 6 or 7 issues I received. It is only an every other month subscription.
See if your demo has any SU inspiration sheets.....I think there are more ideas there than in this magazine. : )
I just bought my first copy yesterday to check it out. Was thinking about subscribing, but after reading everyone's comments, maybe I won't. There was actually three or four cards, I might try, but stamping magazines are like recipe books, everything looks good while you are looking at it, but do you ever get around to it? And when you finally really want to try something you have to look through 40 million magazines to find it and pretty much never come accross it!

Thanks for your all your inputs. Is Stamp It available at a store or is it done by subscrip.. only??? I'll look for it and check it out. I believe I've seen Paper Crafts @ Michaels (?). I hope everyone is having a Happy Fourth!!!!
Stamp It! only comes out 4 times a year. It is a special issue done by Papercrafts.
I personally don't like Card Maker, it just isn't my style. I honestly don't think that this magazine even compares to PaperCrafts and others like papercrafts.
Card Maker's first few issues were the most impressive but I am just not too thrilled about it anymore. Stamp It is FAB! I wish they made more issues of it throughout the year. Good Luck finding a mag that suits your style. Paper Crafts is really good...I think if you do a search on stamp mags you will find even more info.
I will not subscribe to this magazine again. I sent for the free issue to try it - they guaranteed that you would not have to pay until you sampled the issue. I got a bill twice before I ever saw an issue. I had to make several calls. I then sent a payment thinking by paying the invoice my magazine would start coming - not so. I finally got them to do a refund. I have a couple of issues and they are not that great. Also it is an odd size. I take my magazines to Office Max and get 3 or 4 issues spiral bound together and they didn't fit in my shelf correctly.

I had the same thing happen to me but once I paid, then the magazine came - 3 months later. I'm not subscribing again. I really liked the first issues but I find there is not enough stamping projects. There cards are more crafts than stamping. I do like the verses on the back page. I also get Papercrafts which I did get some ideas from but will not subscribe again. I'll use the catty for card ideas (LOVE the samples this year) and would like to try Canadian scrapbooker and Scrapbook Answers next year. I'm really regretting choosing Papercrafts over Scrapbook Answers, but they were not in the stores yet when the neighborhood kids came selling their mags.

I must say I also agree with many of those above me here, in that I too find very little useful in this mag. Uses A LOT of stickers, and very little stamping. Also, the ideas seem to be generally ultra simple, which I dont care for...I feel like I want to see something new and challenging in something I am paying for. I get PaperCrafts, and The Rubber Stamper, each of which I enjoy. HTH!!

Well, I don't think I will try this Mag. I have some OLD issues of Rubber Stamper that a girl friend gave me about 4 years ago, did I mention OLD. Oh, yah I did. Anyways I completely forgot I even had them until I saw the name again. I'll have to pull them out. Sometimes old is good right???LOL. Anyways thank you to everyone who has given me there opinions. I hope everyone had a safe and Happy Fourth.
Cardmaker just seems to be making, well, cards - not much on stamping, or stamping companies. Too much of showcasing items that are "buy and stick on paper". Not for me.
I prefer Stampers Sampler, I like to see lots of different cards from different companies.
