You can put them here on SCS!!! I just started doing a gallery, and it's wonderful!! I often do not make more than one card, simply because of time, or 'okay - I've done that - what next' attitude that I get into a lot. So, now, I'm snapping all my 'gallery worthy' creations and that way, if I don't feel like it, I only have to make one!!
I try to keep a copy of every card I make, but I sometimes get going so fast I don't take the time to scan it or take a picture of it. I store the actual cards in plastic boxes I got this summer at Target in the $1 area. They were clearanced out at 2/$1 & I couldn't resist. The scans or pictures are all stored on my HD right now, but I'm hopig to get a memory stick so I can transfer them. I think they are what's bogging my computer down right now. HTH
I keep one of every card that I make and I keep them in photo boxes!! I keep all of the handmade cards that I receive in a swap, in the mail, etc in another photobox. They stack great and I like the little slot that holds the label!!
I didn't keep copies at first and found myself missing the cards I worked so hard to make and also forgetting how some of the ones I really liked were made. So........I started keeping one for myself. I keep them in Large white 3 ring binders I buy at SAMS. I put them in plastic pages I buy from Century. They make all different size pages for photos. I buy their 4.25X5 and the cards fit just fine. I file by Stamp Set. I keep Christmas Cards in a separate binder since I make more of them.
I have found my friends that are addicted to stamping like to look at them for ideas. My friends who are Demos take them to their stamps parties and the people there have ordered because of looking at them.
I always keep one. I sign the back and date the year it was made. I think I deserve it.
I recently started scanning every card I make and keep them organized in folders by type. I only wish I had started doing this years ago. Oh well, better late than never!
I usually make my cards in sets of four and I always keep one for myself. Stamping in my "hobby" and by keeping a sample card of everything I make, I have something to show for it besides the supplies I own. In fact, it helps me justify the supplies I have and the supplies I want to get. I store each one in a clear plastic envelope and then they go into card boxes by category. (Birthday, Christmas, etc.) Stamping friends and non-stamping friends alike are always asking me if they can look at my cards and I have built up quite a large client base of people who buy my handstamped cards. In fact, I have a dentist appointment tomorrow and two of the ladies who work there reminded me to be sure and bring my cards when I come in!
My question on these is that the cards I make are 4.25x5.5. Do you have to trim the half-in. off each card? That would make a big difference on some cards. Thanks for letting me know. I've looked at these several times, but haven't figured that part out.

No you dont have to trim. There is enough plastic above each card. It also makes it easier if you want to rearrange or take out to get recipe. Here is a sample of what I mean. I also get 5X7 pages and use them for 5X7 and Square cards too. The square are a little loose. I also put cards behind for the next page if you know what I mean. My friend only files card fronts, I do the whole card.
I guess its just preference. I am pretty much a tactile person. I like to touch and feel stuff. I also find its easier to show people at stamp get togethers what they look like to give ideas.
I agree with you about the space, but I really like to show them off when people ask.
I also keep a copy of each card I make. I scan them in color at 92% size and store them in a acid-free protective pocket photo album. That works great for me! I've been making card since 1997 and have about six photo albums full. I'm still working on the best way to organize them for quicker access; but for now having them available works OK.

I keep a copy of each card I make too. I used to do a smaller version and just keep the 'cover' in one of those little plastic photo albums, but now I just keep the whole card, in a plastic sleeve, and store them in a box. I want to get some velcro stickys and mount them on a board tho. That plastic board that is about the size of poster paper. I was going to cut thru the back so I could fold it like giant card and then attach one side of the velcro to the board and to other side to the backs of the cards (in plastic bags) so that I could pull a bunch out and use them as inspiration and look at them all at once or display them at work where I sell them.
When I do get around to brain storming, I usually work on card fronts. That way there is less to throw away when I mess up. When I finally get one I like I glue it in a cheap paper photo album. I try to keep them according to stamp sets.
Then I can copy from my card front.

I don't keep many cards. I usually try to scan all of my cards to my computer and then I copy them all to CDs. That way if my computer ever dies I have back-up and also if a potiental customer is interested I can give them a CD of my cards!
