Default I LOVE free stuff!!

My neighbor called this morning to let me know she's got some things she wants to get rid of. She called the local charity, who said they'd be here on Tuesday to get it, but in the meantime, she was letting her friends know they could come and look.

Well, I looked in the pile of stuff, and I found....a wooden cassette holder!! Yee haw!!! Now I have a home for my stamp pads!!!

I know what you mean. When my mother in law passed away and Dad had been gone seven years already we had to clear out the house. No one took those little chest of drawers that she always called Daddy's or her upright dresser so I brought them home and gave them a new life of holding my stamp sets. What a great find and a constant reminder of two great people. I really think after my SIL saw what I use them for she wished she would have taken them for her stamps but to late, their mine!

Oh my gosh! I just looked over at one of my bookcases and realized--I have the perfect storage for my stamp pads!

When my mother passed away, we cleared out her house and each of us took what we wanted and sold or donated the rest. One of the things I took was a little wooden box that we always assumed was a file box of some type. There are 10 slots for dividers but only 3 of them. The inside opening of the box is 8 1/2" wide X14 and the dividers have a 4+ inch depth. I just tried it. I can line up three stamps across and if hubby will cut 7 more dividers for me, I can stand it up on end and have storage for 30 stamps!

Guess the fossils and shells will have to find another home.
