Two things that come to mind are a name frame (if the frame is too bulky make one to fit a frame you know the parents can pick up maybe?) or a family tree. I saw one family tree idea a few years ago that I *love* and want to replicate someday. It is two sets of offset concentric circles, one set for the maternal side and the other set for the paternal side. The baby's name and particulars are written in the centre two circles, and the parents names are written in the narrow space on the first set of circles out, the grandparents on the next set, etc. Kind of hard to describe, but I guess another way to say it is the offset concentric circles make an eight.

Also, a stamped onesie. You can stamp with Lumiere or other fabric paints or inks. Easy and very cute.
