I did a quick search and didn't find any information on how people align their background stamps. Say you want to use a background stamp like French Script and you want to stamp two of them side by side. How do you line it up? Do you do it with a Stamp Positioner (Stamp-A-Ma-Jig), or... ?
I think the only way to align accurately would be to use a stamp-a-ma-jig. I've never done 2 side-by-side because I have little faith in my ability to align them accurately, and it would bug me no end if one was crooked! Good luck!

I don't have the Stamp-a-ma-jig, but I do have a stamp positioner and it does make all the difference, especially with multi-stamping or with DD stamps.
I've used a stamp positioner to line them up. Just make sure you hold onto that sucker tight when stamping. The weight of the bkg stamp can be a little tricky to handle with one hand
Is the Stamp-a-ma-jig at Michael's just as good as the SU one?? I want to get one but don't know much about them (remember I'm a rookie)
SU! used to sell the one that's carried at Michael's before they changed to having all the tools made in black with the logo. It's the same thing, just in a different color.
