Look to Book Bag
A few days ago, someone posted a really nice bag that they used to put items in for Book to look. I can't find it anywhere!!!! I must have been dreaming. I have had some really nice people send me ideas for Book to Look, but I would like to use the bag idea. If any one has any idea, please let me know. Thanks.

Hi Linda,
Sorry I can't help you with your question, but I noticed you're in Tulare. I'm in Fresno! And I'm the "other" Linda D. LOL What a coincidence, as I've always admired your creations. Linda Durham |
Hello Linda
Hi Linda,
We should try to get together and stamp sometime. I love this stuff, and I love meeting new fellow stampers. Let me know. I work 5 days a week, 8 to 5. Do you stamp with other stampers? do you belong to a group? if so let me know, I would love to try and work something out. Linda D |

Actually, we probably should move this thread over to the Demo forum so as not to give away any demo "secrets" ;-) Actually, it's not a big secret anyway. If you've ever been to a workshop you have probably played this game.
What you do is you decide on a list of prizes - usually anything in the catalog under $5 or so and then maybe one or two bigger prizes like stamp sets or free admission to a stamp camp or something. Then you seal each one of them into an envelope, or a bag, or something that looks very tempting to open. Then at a workshop, you place the envelope or bag in front of each guest and announce that there IS a prize in there and if they want to find out what it is, they neeed to book a workshop with you. My twist on it is that if 3 guests book workshops then the hostess gets to open her envelope. It just generates some excitement and a little peer pressure to get bookings. Just to keep you safe from flakers and cancellations, they don't get the prize until they hold their workshop. Then I usually give the prize as the hostess gift. That way, it gives you a reason to mention the game. I have my Book to Look envelopes decorated to match my door prize bags and cello toppers - they just have an incentive stamp and a black spot inside (mini ink pad).
