Default Arg! How do you adhere grosgrain

How do you adhere grosgrain ribbons to your cards? I especially have a hard keeping it "stuck" when it is actually used to tie the card closed somewhere or if it is placed behind a piece of cardstock and tied in the front.

what do you use to adhere it?

Try the Tacky Tape stuff, that's what I use to keep note books closed with grosgrain....

Default This is what I do...

I use the mono adhesive too because it is the perfect width for the ribbon. I just rub the ribbon afterwards to make sure it is really stuck to the paper.

If the grosgrain is behind/between layers of c/s, Mini Glue Dots will keep all the layers together under the stress of the ribbon thickness. I like to use those whenever I question the holding power of Monoadhesive.

I use permanent Hermafix dotto tape. It seems to hold the best out of anything I've tried so far, and it's easy to run along the back of ribbon. I try to use it sparingly, though--that stuff is expensive!

Well, nobody mentioned crystal effects, but it works really good! Especially for "cheater" bows!

Thanks for all of the replies ladies!

The funny thing is, I have the red super sticky tape, the xyron x, the glue dots and the hermafix permanant dotties, and I have never thought of using any of them  duh to me!

Thanks again!
Andrea
