Default Why dont my cards appear in Company Gallerys

I know that you put the company name in Keywords.
Sometimes my cards show up in the company galleries
Sometimes they dont. Also I make Box cards and zfold cards
How do I get my cards into those galleries.
My cards dont seem to get many views and I would like to
Give them as much exposure as I can.
Thank you in advance!!
Bev

As for the company galleries, the keyword that you use matters. It has to be one of the keywords that are defined for that company.

For example:
Let's say I made a card using Paper Smooches stamps. I could put "papersmooches", "Paper_smooches", "PS", "Paper Smooches", etc in the keywords. Take a look at this page and find Paper Smooches in the list. Hover over the company name. You will see the two keywords that will put your card in the Paper Smooches company gallery. Using "Paper Smooches" or "PS" as a keyword will not.
However, there is a way around that issue...If you use "Paper Smooches" in the search box on the gallery pages, then the cards that use that phrase anywhere in the post show up.

I would imagine that your cards that do not show up in the company gallery when you post probably don't have the company name in one of the "acceptable" forms.

As for where your uploads appear, all of them will appear in your own gallery. Beyond that, my understanding is that you may choose only one place to designate where that card appears. So, it can go in a stamp set gallery OR a technique gallery OR a project gallery, etc.

Be aware that putting keywords into your description is really putting in a search term, so to say. You can (and it's a great idea) put as many keywords as you want.

For example, let's say you made a card for a challenge on SCS, and it was also for several other challenges, and it used a certain company's stamps, and it was CAS (clean and simple) in its design, and it was for a guy, and it is a birthday card...you get the picture. ALL of those keywords could be used and anyone searching for those cards will see yours.

Diane has it spot on for the company galleries. If you're not using a cursor and you can't hover your mouse over the name to see the official keywords, just click on the company name and you'll see the relevant keywords when you look at the "breadcrumb trail" on the gallery page that opens up. In case you don't know what I mean, this is for Our Daily Bread Designs...though I'm a bit baffled that the keyword for design team members only was included!

For techniques, choose Technique Spotlight from the main drop-down menu and the relevant gallery from the sub menu (s). Techniques which featured in any of the annual Holiday Blitzes nest under Holiday Blitz which can be confusing and hard to remember.
Just be aware that people can have different names for the same technique...for example I regularly sweep the "Box Card"gallery whn I have spare time, and move cards which should have been uploaded to the Pop Up Box Card gallery..I think this is the one you make ;-). Checking the Tutorial Section lets you check whether it's the right gallery.

Commenting on other cards increases your chance of receiving comments. So does participating in challenges - because of the community element to those. I expect far fewer or no comments on cards I have made just for myself.

Diane's advice on keywords is excellent. I recommend that people use style (CAS, vintage, masculine, shabby chic) and occasion (birthday, sympathy, wedding, Christmas, anniversary etc) as well as stamp companies and techniques.
