Default Just wondering about JUST RIGHT

Is it necessary to buy the just right stamper blocks or can they be used with other acrylic blocks?

You can use them on any acrylic block. Keep in mind though that acrylic blocks are just like anything else, some are better quality than others. Good ones are easier to hold onto than others, and also stamps can stick to good quality blocks better than some cheap ones.

Sorry I just realized I didn't know what you were talking about.

I have been messing up a lot lately so never mind me.

Question

So, does this mean that I can not use my blocks, and I must buy theirs to use the images?

You need the JustRite blocks with the JustRite stamps. The rubber is grooved and it fits into the grooves of the blocks.

OK Thanks. I'm just a bit limited on supply $$ and love some of the Christmas images! Just hopin'.

They are pretty nifty... they have interchangable borders that also fit into the groves of the block so everything stays nice and straight.

You can also use their tiny letters in the blocks to create your own phrases around the border.

SuzyQue,
I was a Just Rite stamp hater because, among other reasons, you must buy their blocks, to be used with only their stamps. A wise woman told me I could get by in a pinch without the blocks, by placing them on my clear blocks. I went home and tried the stamps with my acrylic blocks that have Tack N Peel on them, and guess what?! They worked great. I have only two sets of JR stamps and they are not the letters, but it worked for me.It may not work for all of their stamps, but for me, so far so good. I am thrilled because I do like some of the JR designs, just really don't like their wood blocks. They have come out with some clear acrylic blocks so at least that is a step in the right direction. If you really like the stamps I would suggest you give your acrylic blocks a try and see if it will work for you, too.

Thanks, Annie!
I am not particularly interested in the little tiny words that fit in those grooves, just some of the images.
Imagine my surprise when I opened one of the blogs I read every day and found a post saying that JustRite is releasing some new cling stamps. Now the timing of this is almost spooky!

Too funny! Maybe they are getting the message that people love their stamp images, but hate their stamps and blocks. I can't wait to see what they produce in cling stamps! Thanks for sharing the info.

I was wondering about using the tack n peel stuff - thanks Annie for sharing that. Going to have to try that. I love their designs, but I do not like their stamping blocks!

Glad to hear they are going to improve their stamps - would be great to have some of their designs in cling form!

Does anyone else know more details on this?!

Yup, the backs of the stamps have grooves that fit into the blocks.

I've read of people trimming the grooves off JR stamps and using them as unmounted, though, so you could try that (with or without EZMount).

Found this and thought you might be interested. It tells you what to do to get a better stamped image when not using their blocks.
