Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending April 10, 2011
Welcome to the Clean and Simple Favorites of the Week Thread! Here's our place to celebrate the week's CAS accomplishments in the gallery...EVERYONE is invited to participate by linking to their CAS favorites and/or by commenting on CAS cards and projects.
I'll get us started.
rosigrld made a delightfully fresh one-layer card with just a bit of perfectly placed bling as embellishment
LynniePoo was inspired by Queen Harriet to make her totally fab daisy card with tons of gloriously clean pressure embossing on white
2ndhandstamps used orange in the most gloriously CAS way on her Feel Better card
susanbri used rustic white cardstock as the base for her one-layer sympathy card featuring a debossed frame and sea shell to beautiful effect
biggan also went sea-themed on her one-layer sympathy card and glued wonderful smooth pebbles to her sponged beach scene
NikiE's love you card made me squeal in delight with its fab color scheme and perfect little details
Missro made a bow that I fell in love with as a fab accent to her CAS color challenge card
bfindlay pieced the sweetest dp for her snuggly over the moon card
hobbydujour's Asian Fusion beauty made me want that set just so I can CASE her delightful card
lisaadd stacked her flower layers beautifully and cleanly and finished them with a big white brad on her Just Saying Hello card
ReginaBD played around (quite successfully!) with textured white on smooth white as the base for her adorable focal point birdie
lisa lara stamped on dp so beautifully on her Light of the World card
Many, many thanks to all who make the gallery the wonderful place of inspiration and ideas that it is. Whether you're a CAS stamper or delight in layers and embellishments, your sharing of your time and talent gives the whole wide world of stamping a huge resource right here on SCS. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
Now, it's your turn. What CAS deliciousness did YOU find this week!?!?
Susan, thank you for your kind notice of my card. I hope you do get the set. It's one that I use often and the sentiments are almost worn out! : ) You started my week off in the nicest possible way! Hugs, Sallie
Karen, I was thrilled to see your comment telling me my Sea Shell card was a CAS favourite this week. And thank you so so much, Susan (LateBlossom), for honouring me. What a perfect way to cheer me up on a morning of pouring rain!

Susan (LateBlossom), I was thrilled to have my Over the Moon card mentioned in your fav's this week, coming from such a fabulous CAS stamper, it's a real honor! Thanks, Karen (kdunbrook), my friend, for the heads up too, I so appreciate it!
Thank you, Trish, for fav'ing my Thinking of You card, and to Karen for letting me know! Lisa, so excited to have made your top 10 with a card I just uploaded this morning! MADE my Sunday! <3 LOVE this thread!
Trish, thanks so much for mentioning my CAS Love and Caring card. You are amazing taking so much time to honor so many stampers this week. Thanks again for making my week :-)
Thanks, Diane(fionna51), for mentioned my card for the upcoming Jewish holiday. I truly appreciate it......especially since it was in no challenge gallery...just a little card sitting there. You certainly brightened my afternoon. A "thank you" to Karen Dunbrook too...I would have never thought! : ) Hugs, Sallie
I was so excited this morning when I saw one of my own cards listed by LateBlossom that I quickly typed a thank you and then forgot to post my own favourites of the week. So here are the ones that haven't yet been mentioned, including a few with the aqua and yellow colour combination of this week's CAS challenge. I love that colour combination!!
Trish, You are so sweet to pick my card for a favorite. Thanks for all the encouragement you give to stamper's each week.
I can remember the first time I got picked for a favorite. I felt like I had just won the lottery. KWIM?
