Jumbo Wheels: I LOVE THEM!
Ok, so I've been a demo for over 6 months now, and I can't believe it took me this long to try the jumbo wheels. I LOVE THEM! I have never been able to make background paper so fast! I used the rough texture wheel, and it was so easy to make it straight. Since I was using 8 1/2 x 11 paper, I used an ink pad so I didn't have to buy the cartridges. The other cool thing is I got the wheel guide, so it's easy to make sure I don't overlap them. I am not the biggest fan of the standard wheels, but the jumbos are definately worth it.
If you haven't tried the jumbo wheel yet, I really recommend them!

I agree. I have several smaller wheels and they don't cover as evenly as the jumbo. I may detach them from the wheel and use them as a regular stamp. But the jumbos work well, especially with the wheel guide.

Love my jumbo wheels so much that I took the fun away from my class by making all their backgrounds for them! It is just SO fast!

OOOH!
I want some too!
Just curious--how long is the "inking" or actually the stamp length, if you use it with the pad?!?

I love the jumbo wheels too. I am still trying to master the smaller ones but the jumbo ones are so much easier.

I love wheels in general! I haven't gotten jumbo ones yet, but there are quite a few on my wishlist.
Now, I can't wait.

I love the jumbo wheels! I especially like the new texture wheels. I have a customer who admits she is "wheel-challenged". At the card club we had last week, I had a project for them that included using the Rough Around the Edges wheel. So when she heard that it required a wheel, she got a little peeved. I assured her that it was truly "idiot-proof" (obviously...if I use it, it is!) So she tried it and she loved it!

Juliana - the measurement arount the jumbo is 7 1/2". Plenty for a card without using a cartridge.
It really is easier to be successful with the jumbo wheels - probably because they are wider and easier to keep level. Love, love, love them!

I have three and want ALL of them!!! I am so glad I made the leap from standard to jumbo. I liked the standard, but the jumbo cover so much more area in such a short time, plus they have even better designs, IMO. Looking forward to a Christmas card with Woodcut Holly embossed on burgundy!
I think the cartridges are very worth not having to ink it on a pad... and you can use the same refills as pads, so that's a big money saver!

The jumbos are what kept me in love with wheels! I had several standard wheels and had pretty much stopped using them due to the frustration. I loved the idea, loved the images, just couldn't get the hang of 'em.
Then I had the good fortune of buying a jumbo wheel and handle on impulse. BEST move I could have made, lol! Because the jumbos are so much easier, it actually got me using wheels enough that I had an easier time with the standard ones! I still use the jumbos most, but at least I do get some use out of my small ones now.
PLUS, having a Stampress from Clearsnap, I can crank out things even faster than ever!

I love the jumbo wheels!! Haven't tried to use the ink pads instead of cartridges though. Will have to try it out. I bought the wheel guide too, since I have trouble with straight lines!! The jumbo wheels are great for making your own wrapping paper.
