I don't seal my journal.notebooks either. I just attach the cardstock with my SU Anywhere Gluestick!

I didn't seal my notebooks. I applied the paper with the SU's red sticky tape. It's still perfect!

I don't seal mine either. I'm not a big fan of mod podge.

You can use Krylon Perserve it, Matte Finish. Just don't put on a thick layer. I have found this works best if you are planning on or wanting to seal projects

I made a book once that I knew would get a 'lot' of wear to the cover so I did use a sealer on the outside part of the cover. I don't like Mod Podge myself, so I use Royal Coat decoupage. RC is acid free and cheaper than Mod Podge acid free and I think- less watery too. I put three coats on my cover and it came out great.

I've sealed a few with mod podge, and left the rest alone. To be honest, I haven't seen much difference in the wear and tear.

But the one sealed with mod podge tends to get a wee bit sticky in humid weather.

I used mod podge on mine. You can mod podge over pictures. I'm not a huge fan of the way mod podge looks, either, but it make them almost indestructable.
