Default First Demo Order Question

I have a question that I "need" answered. My up-line is out of town for the holiday and DS is closed... And I've not yet received my PM to start the process to access the demo forums - so I'm asking here. I hope I'm not out-of-line.

I'm a new demo (nearly a week now) and want to place my first smaller non-workshop order for paper, ribbon, etc. But I still plan to place an order in October for over $150 and want my one-time 30% discount/ instant income on that order.

Will that work? Can I place a sub $150 order with the 20% discount and still get the 30% on my first $150+ order? Anyone know? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I "think" the answer is yes, but I can't recall for sure. If the rules are the same, you have to place that first "hostess" order of over 150 within 45 days of becoming a demo in order to get the special instant income. Any order under that amount would not qualify -- you would see that when you placed the order. You can check the rules on line at the demo portion of the SU website. Please do not rely on me, however. My memory may be faulty.

If you are placing a $150 order the first time, even on a demo order, it will automatically give you the 30%. If you only want to get the 20% you would need to put in less than $150. I would save that for your first workshop as you had planned.

Good luck!

You will get the 30% off the first order you place. So make it a good one!

Default per the demo website

This was on the website last month...

A Few Helpful Clarifications
August 11, 2006

Extra 10 Percent Instant Income Offer
A new demonstrator receives an extra 10 percent instant income on her first order that qualifies for hostess benefits during her first 45 days as a demonstrator. (This is in addition to the standard 20 percent instant income). A qualifying order is a demonstrator, customer, or workshop order that totals $150 or more. An order totaling less than $150 is not a qualifying order; therefore, it will not use up your extra 10 percent instant income offer.

Sandi, I'm glad you asked this! Now I have to rethink my first order.
