I have an older Nellie Snellen nesting die set of Star of David dies and the largest die is exactly 3.75" across. It is just the exterior shape though, but since it is a nesting die, a smaller size can be used to create an outline shape or to create shaker cards. I imagine you could decorate the interior of the Star of David shape in multiple ways. I think I got the die set at Joann's online, but I don't know if it is carried anymore. You can see it in this blog post (not mine)

Another idea: use a ruler to draw out the shape (it's just two inverted triangles) and perhaps embellish with an embossing pen and some embossing powder, or a metallic marker on the outline/edge, or stamp a background stamp over it, or a repeat impression of "mazal tov" or whatever sentiment you like inside it ...lots of ideas come to mind.
