If you were to recommend sets to use for a new demo, what would you choose? I have a number of sets, but am not particularly fond of the suggested ones. Also, which ones do you think will last into the next catalog? I'm going to sign up this month!
I want versatility in the stamps. What do you think of Looks Like Spring, with a wheel, designer paper and the embossing template?
It is too hard to guess which sets will make it into the next catty, especially with the new 2 catty a year change that will take place.
As for which sets to get, I would keep Heartfelft Thanks. It is a great set that really shows off two-step stamping technique. I think Looks like spring would be a great choice since there are a lot accessories you can upsell (the spring flower punch, designer paper-spring showers and spring flowers). Getting a wheel to coordinate with one of the sets is also a great idea. Don't forget to get a sentiment set, you can never have too many words. Other good sets that have sold well for me are: Wild About You, Lovely as a Tree, Little pieces (love Big Pieces that coordinates with it but there is only 1 month left to demo it because it is in the Winter Mini), Loads of Love and Seeing Spots. I would also do an alphabet set, so you can demo scrapbooking. Good luck, and Congrats. It is so fun being a demo!
I sell alot of In My Thoughts. Inside setiments are not something people generally think of ordering unless they use them and make actually sending cards so much easier. It was new this year so I think it will stay. There are never any guarentees though. Otherwise buy what you feel comfortable with. People respond to what they are shown and if you aren't feeling it they won't either.

I am in the process of ordering my kit too, and I also picked looks like spring, and kept heartfelt thanks. I thought those 2 would be good "all around" choices. I am stuck on the other ones though. lol
I think what you choose for your kit depends on what type of demo you are going to be. If you want to do this for a business, then I would get the kit as is. These sets are VERY popular sets with customers and you can do a lot of quick, easy cards for your workshops with these sets. They are very versatile sets that can be used for multiple things thats why they are so popular. SU knows what sells and these sets do sell a lot. If you are going to be a hobby demo, and you don't care about doing workshops then get what you like. Think about this decision from a business prospective.

I love heartfelt thanks, Lovely as a tree, Summer by the sea, and solemn stillness to name a few. I am a hobby demo so I pretty much buy what I will I will use personnally. You also can't go wrong with the words and sayings. I find that I never have enough!
I think bodacious bouquet will be in the next catty, but of course you can never be sure. I'd get that set if you don't like heartfelt thanks. I think it would be really good for the rock and roll technique. lovely as a tree is great too. I think it has been out for a while I really hope it won't retire. I also like wonderful words or warm words. for the cheaper sets I'd get perennial favorites and season by season and one of the itty bitty backgrounds.
I would recommend a versatile floral set like Mixed Bouquet, Looks like Spring, or Simply Said and a set of words or sentiments like Everyday Flexible phrases, Expressive Flexible Phrases, or one of the All Year Cheer sets. All of these suggestions offer a multitude of possibilites and are amongst my hottest sellers.
My personal faves are Happy Everything, Be Happy, and Tag Time.
