Default Its clean now so check out my fab Stamp Room!!

Well, my MIL is coming to visit us for the first time since we moved into our new house so I've been busy cleaning. And since my stamp room was pretty spotless after all that work, I decided to snap a few pictures of my fabulous room to post and share with ya'll. My room is a bit different than many I've seen here because I usually stamp standing up...thus I dont have a desk, I have lots of counter space!! Plus I have killer view, too! Follow this link to the gallery I started showing many different pictures of my stamp room with a view. http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.co...y.php?cat=4533

Maybe I should go out on the deck and take a picture of just the view too? Or maybe I should get back to cleaning, lol!

Awesome room! You have a lot of good storage and a lot of space. My stamp room keeps getting more and more furniture in it to store my things! Love how you store ribbon!

WOW - that is a great room - so organized. I love the high drafting chair and the cork board, but most of all -- WOW - would love to have a view like that!

Thanks for sharing your stamp room with us. It's very nice.
I tried leaving you a note on your daughter's sign but it just wasn't going through so I'll say 'How Sweet' here.

Now a question for you. Are those just cork bulletins boards or did you purchase just cork board and if so where? I'm wanting to do something on a smaller scale but haven't gotten out to look for it yet. It's a great idea!

Awesome room! You DO have a lot of stamps! TFS!!!!! So fun to see everyone's different spaces - and to know we are not freaks for having "stamp rooms"! (I posted mine a few days ago too )

This is wonderful. I'm losing my "stampin studio" as we are moving into our new house next month But DH says I get a whole corner of what will be the family room, I may have to copy some of your ideas.

I'm jealous! I just gave up my temporary stamp space for my baby to have a room! my still not finished stamp room is crawling at a snail's pace. I can't wait for it to be finished though. I'll just drool over your room until mine's done.

and that sign from your DD is soo adorable!

Thanks for all the wonderful compliments on my room!! We just moved here last Sept and that was one of my requirements for a new house...a room for me, lol!

For those of you who made comments on how many stamp sets I had...the sad part is that the big pile on the top shelf on the side over the ribbons is what I have that is retiring!! OUCH!

I couldn't view your room.... It said that I don't have permission to view this gallery???
My DD Fan Club just expired but why would it be in there?
Oh well, I'll try again later. Probably just a glitch.
Your blog is wonderful, btw!

I can't see her stamp room (not authorized!), but I did do something very affordable to make cork bulletin boards. I went to the home improvement store and bought a 3' x 4' piece of tack board. It doesn't look nice at all but it's cheap and you can cut it easily to size. Then I covered it with fabric remnants that I picked up on sale, using staples on the back to attach the fabric. Then I hot-glued some nice rope trim to the edges (you could use hot glue to attach the fabric, too, I guess). I used small 1" nails to attach it directly to the wall. It looks great and is very useful, too! The whole project cost me about $15.

Wish I could post a pic, but I'm not that smart yet!

Thanks for the tip, I was thinking on those lines too but DH ended up putting a shelf up and I display the cards in two levels until the ladies I teach see them then pack them away.

Oh, I can't see the photo now either so it could have been taken from the gallery.

Kristin, it's on the demo side! But, I do know what a beautiful room you have and I'm saving to come and stay and use it, OK?

This is an old thread, and Kristin deleted these pics and all others and started a new gallery under her new name (used to be Heartart). Maybe she will repost them so we can see?
