Default ISO: Wheel stamp - perhaps dots

I don't stamp much, so I'm not knowledgeable about all the stamps that exist. But I'm looking for something that I feel probably exists.

I'm preparing to start an album of about 140 mementos from celebrities, about 24 of which are letter-size. No photos. I'd like the album to have the feel of a Black Tie Dinner. I'm planning to use black cardstock for the background (but haven't decided which brand). The items will be mounted either with clear corner protectors or vellum pockets (perhaps black vellum or silver).

I'm considering using a stamp wheel, to have a low-key decoration running thru the album - and embossing the design with silver powder. I don't want anything too much - just a little something on the pages. I'm thinking of a dotted pattern because it reminds me of runway lights....

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance -

Stampin' Up! has a couple of the regular size wheels that sound perfect for what you are wanting to do. You can view them in the online catalog at www.stampinup.com

One is Star-Studded, and has stars intermingled with streamers. The other is Twinkle.

I couldn't find either of these thru the search at their site. So I surfed and found them elsewhere. Thanks for the suggestion - they're close - but I really don't want stars. I'm looking for a gentle swirl, with dots. Or circles and dots.

SU also has a wheel that just circles and dots. I think it's called Dotted, but I can't remember. Check out the wheel page in their online catalog.

They also have a dotted wheel. Just type in item number 104312 to see a photo.

Hot to Dot (item 104312) or Whirly-Twirly (item 10409 sound like what you're looking for. Whirly-Twirly is on the retiring list though, so if you are getting it through SU!, order soon!

I think I found the answer - Stampin Up - Hot to Dot Wheel. That's pretty close to what I have in mind - not exact.

Any ideas for something similiar? Smaller dots?

Thanks
Marion
