LOL! Sabrina, anything under 90 degrees F is COLD here in TX. ROFL!!!!!!!! Personally, I love days that are 65 to 80 degrees - those are just perfect temps. Lydia, on the other hand, would say 95 degrees is ideal.
Today it was 40 degrees when I woke up. It was supposed to be 31, so I'm glad it was above freezing, but still, that is tooooooooo cold for Texas in April.
Oh, now I'd class that as cold. It was about 55F here when I was coming home at lunch time and I tell you, it almost felt like summer - till I got off the bus and felt that cool wind! Good for drying clothes, though.
Hi, everyone! I'm so tired of being a Thing! Well, not really - it's been a blast! But I want to be me!!! LOL! Any guesses? I HOPE Thing2 joins us soon!
Hmmmmmmmmmm maybe Bridget "knew" that the new gals are from the South after all??? Wouldn't that be a hoot??? Next, we can ask Bridget for the lottery numbers, right? :-)
Good morning, Ladies. Just to add to the weather report -- it's 79 degrees here in Central Florida. We might get some rain today, which upsets me because I had planned to paint the wall in my back yard today. I guess I'll wait until tomorrow. I'm also going to try my hand at stenciling a vine across the top of the wall.
Lydia, feel for you, I really do. It's 14 degrees C, or 57 F here today and I just saw people in shorts and flip flops at the supermarket! This could be our only day of summer!

I chuckled a bit when I read this, Bridget. Winter visitors to Florida often walk around in shorts and sandals while those of us who live here year- round are bundled up when the weather gets in the 50's. I remember the first year we moved to Florida, we drove to the beach on New Years Day and stepped into the ocean. It was chilly, but we just had to do it! I think it might be a rite of passage for new Floridians.

Thing 1, with my legs, I think a "short-less" existence is probably a good thing!
Lois, if those legs you see are so blindingly white that you need sunglasses, they're probably visitors from the U.K.!
It's about 11:20 a.m. here in ???? LOL! And I chuckled at Harriet's comments! Hi, sweet Lydia!! Sorry you are cold! I hate the cold! Anything under 70 degrees is not to my liking!
That's what I'm thinking....... she's an hour ahead of me. Hmmmm.... so who do we know who lives in Florida and makes purty artwork worthy of the Dirty Dozen?? Hmmmmmmmmmm?????
